A great big THANK YOU to all the wonderful employees at Avery Animal Hospital, who allowed me the privilege of photographing their furry kids!

Apparently “S” has been working on her modeling skills – Look at that attitude!
But wait… we still got some serious…
And caught mom and dad in a shot too!
There were so many great architectural elements to work with. The doors especially were awesome.
Not that she needed anything other than her beautiful face…
I’m not sure if the family knows this (they will now!) but they were my first official clients when I opened my studio in Newark. I had done some sessions before but all were either on location or in my friend’s home studio, and the subjects were all friends and family. I think when S’s mom called me to schedule that first “real” session, I almost cried!
This makes my third year of doing S’s portraits, and I want to thank everyone, especially the M family, for choosing me to be your photographer. I love watching them grow up.
Meet “Coal” & “Twix”.
They were a bit of a handful at first…
… but they wore themselves out eventually.
And, as it turns out…
… they’re actually …
… a couple of couch potatoes!
I’ve been photographing “A” since she was a baby, and was excited to help welcome “C” into the family.

“A” is being a very good big sister to her 5-day old brother!
(She’s even helping with the diapering.)
Mom and Dad aren’t doing too bad, either!
Oh my.
I just love babies.
My third session with “S”, at the Franklin Park Conservatory. The Conservatory is a FANTASTIC place for Natural Light Portraits!
