what to expect
When you first contact me we will schedule a casual consultation. Either by phone or in person, this gives us a chance to get to know one another and narrow in on the session details. Prepare to answer a few simple questions and feel free to share any ideas you may have. I love it when my clients are part of the creative process!
Plan on 1-2 hours for the portrait session. Sessions can take place anywhere there is natural light, such as a favorite park or playground. Don’t discount your own backyard. I can work wonders with even small urban landscapes. If the weather or your preference puts us indoors we still have many options; public places such as Franklin Park Conservatory are a fantastic backdrop, or we can choose your home or mine. The subject is the important part; the rest is just details!
Your third and final appointment will be to view and purchase your portraits. Images are always presented in person via projection. Again, we will choose the most convenient time and location to allow all the decision makers to be present. Allow at least an hour for this appointment, more if you have trouble making decisions! (Also, be prepared for treats made with butter and chocolate. I have a thing for those two ingredients.)
Your final portraits will be ready 4-6 weeks from your order date. Delivery and hanging of wall portraits is complimentary.
If this sounds good to you, call or email me and we will get started!
